After receiving a grant from Women’s hope education and training trust (WHEAT), Pinnacle Marketing along with many other helping hands have embarked on an endeavour to uplift this community by providing these preschoolers with a safe haven where they can both learn and play. Our vision is to give these children and the generations to follow equal opportunity in their development, care and growth in preparation for primary school and life to come.

In line with the school’s needs they require material, ideas, donations and time so that we can make our vision and Lizzie’s dream for the school a reality.

10 November 2007

Pinnacle Marketing along with many helping hands around Cape Town and within the community of Lwandlo have been implementing our goal for Sijongephambili.

On Saturday the 10 th of November 2007, a team of joyful hands spent the day at the school where we repainted and decorated the classrooms within the School. Two jungle gyms and sandpits were assembled, cots were repainted, bookshelves built and artwork applied to the walls to brighten up this special place. Our aim has been to make the school a great place for the children to go to each day, where they can learn in a wonderful environment, build on their motor skills during their play time and always remember the gift that is their childhood with fond memories of this wonderful school.

On the 17 th of November 2007 we will again be going to the school to add the finishing touches and place the toys and books which were generously donated from parents and children throughout the Western Cape. Posters will be hung and their reading corner will be completed.

Finally on the 30 th of November 2007, we will be hosting a Christmas party for the school and in closing end the year on a happy note, with 2008 beginning in a wonderful environment for the teachers and children alike.

We would like to thank everyone who helped us in making all of this possible- it has been a wonderful journey with all parties involved and we truly have changed their lives.
